Toyota Fortuner flying off the lot

Toyota Motor Corporation sold almost a quarter of its innovative multipurpose vehicles in Thailand as of the end of March this year since their launch in 2004.
More than 1.2 million units of IMV vehicles were sold here as of the end of the first quarter, representing 24.4% of worldwide turnover of 5 million units, said Vudhigorn Suriyachantananont, senior vice-president of Toyota Motor Thailand, the Thai arm of Japan's largest automaker.
Of the cumulative Thai sales, 136,322 units were Fortuner.
