Mitsubishi ratchets up Mirage output on demand explosion

Higher than expected bookings of the new Mirage have prompted Mitsubishi Motors Thailand to step up production at its third assembly plant in Laem Chabang, Chon Buri province.
The increased output will enable the Japanese automaker to produce and deliver the cars to customers by the end of this year, said president Nobuyuki Murahashi.
Orders for 20,000 units have been placed for the eco-car since its launch in late March.
