Yup, this is Nissan vision's of how Britain's famous black cab could look in the future.
The NV200 shares the same tall, practical two-box body as the iconic TX4, highlighting sliding doors for easy entry and exit in tight road space, plus a spacious interior to accommodate disabled people on wheelchairs.
More important, though, is Nissan's claim of offering British cabbies a saving of 50% on fuel. The NV200 comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine capable of 18.8kpl; today's heavy TX4 uses a far bigger 2.7-litre unit.
