Vios eligible for tax rebate under scheme

Buyers of the Toyota Vios, the latest updated subcompact model, are eligible for tax rebates under the government's first-time car buyer programme.
Vichien Emprasertsuk, senior vice-president of Toyota Motor Thailand, said the model's eligibility was approved by the Excise Department recently.
"Toyota has processed every step as required by the department for cars eligible for the tax rebate scheme," said Mr Vichien.
