Motor Show sales meet target

Automobile bookings at the Motor Show 2014, which ended on Sunday, met the projection at 40,000 units, led by Toyota, Honda and Isuzu. 

Of the 39,415 units booked at the 12-day show, 9,514 were Toyota, followed by Honda (5,617), Isuzu 4,602) Mazda (3,482) Nissan (2,723) Ford (2,572) Chevrolet (1,716) Suzuki (875) Hyundai (727) and Subaru (240).

The luxury segment was led by Mercedes Benz (2,060 units), BMW (1,383), Volkswagen (80), Jaguar (14), Porsche (13) Rolls Royce (10) and Aston Martin (7).
