My 30-year-old Mercedes-Benz 220E; it's beautiful! Wherever I go, there's always someone asking if I'd be interested in selling it.
- Favourite dish?
Isan cuisine ... I like spicy food!
- What's your favourite destination, and why?
Phu Kradung [mountain peak in Loei, 1316 metres above sea level]. I've been up there 15 times. I love the flowers, insects, the sky and the bamboo groves. That's what I want: To commune with Mother Nature in cold weather with the clouds at my feet.
- Favourite hobby?
Collecting stamps.
- Favourite author?
Ajin Panjaphan [Thai writer who founded Fah Muang Thai weekly magazine], but I read everything!
- What's your most treasured possession?
My books. I have my own library at home.
- Greatest achievement?
When we raised 625 million baht from a nationally televised walkathon benefit for Siriraj Hospital.
- If you were put in charge of national automotive policy for a day, what would you do?
How can I answer that question since what I'd really like to do is reduce the number of cars in Bangkok [giggles]? But if I were in such a position, I'd introduce measures to make drivers more disciplined and lower road-accident rates.
