You can't find the perfect way to write the constitution or there is none in this world where the consitution can be written in the way allowing politicians to pocket money when they are in office, building up their strong base so that they can get what they want and not being bullied easily, and putting up a mask to entice the naive and innocent Thais believing that what they are doing is for the good of these naive and innocent Thais.

"Here,Here"
When are the Thai people going to wake up to the fact that the Mar Joys (hungry dogs) of Thailand are not just the High-way Cops. The greediest are the Old Brigade Fat Cat Politicians and Generals that don't give Two Hoots for our country.
They are the problem, and they always will be, until the New Generation that know the facts,"Stand Up and be Counted". It's "YOU" and only "YOU" that can make the changes needed to make Our Country GREAT (for US ALL ,not just THEM)
Tan Aphisit, please don't give in to them,we need you to be strong

JANUS is mistaken. (Comment 1)

Congo and Simbabwe have changed the
Charter more often than Thailand.
Thail. however is a clear third.

--- and that's why I'm proud to be of Thai descent

I feel that it is just benefitting a few.

I don't have confident with a government that is not elected by the people.

I don't have confident with the legal system because those that were responsible for the airport coup are still at large. The society is becoming a lawless one and the lives of people have no basic protection. Army has also failed to protect important facilities like the airport. Yellow shirts had also left explosives in the government buildings too, but no action taken.

Government is only interested in protecting their power and fighting off Thaksin and its supporters. How much are done to make people's lives better?

It also looks to me that anyone related to PAD might get off easily if they break any laws. Anyone related to PAD will be given priority like the recent shooting case.

How much confidence do you have???

I still insist that the best solution is to re-instate the 97 charter and amend that as required. The current charter was illegally imposed by the military when they took over the government, and written with an amnesty clause for themselves, and should be completely scrapped. It has however, some good points which could be saved as amendments to the 97 charter.

democracy is government by the people for the people

the 1997 constitution gave the people the right and responsibility to choose the members of their government

the 2007 constitution was written by puppets of Prem and the military to reduce the power of elected members of parliament and keep the military in control

changing the 2007 constitution to return more power to elected members of the parliament will improve Thailands democracy

Is there any other country where the constitution is rewritten so frequently for the sole purpose of benefitting so few? Our politicians have only one interest -'me'. They have no interest in the people they were elected to represent. Greed rules.
