Don's father is an undertaker and his mother is semi-crippled and cannot work, although she cooks breakfast for him. He has an elder brother who works.

Don is not good at school work and he came last in a class of 15 in the last examination. He tries hard however.

He likes Thai and Social skills but does not like maths.

He likes to play football. He wants to become a policeman - because he will then have a regular salary. He gets 2 baht to take to school a day.

His family is very poor and somedays he goes without food. He says he drinks a lot of water when he is hungry.

On school days he gets free lunch from the school.

His family has no mosquito nets and just an old mat to sleep on. Don has two old school shirts and one pair of school shorts.
