Puea Thai party MP and United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) core figure Jatuporn Prompan said former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will make a phone in on the Democracy Television (DTV) on Sunday.

Mr Jatuporn said Mr Thaksin will comment on the country's social and economic conditions as well as the government's populist policy.

The UDD member said his group will announce its stance on Wednesday prior to its mass anti-government rally in Sanam Luang at the end of February.

    been there done that:

Not even 50% of the American people even voted for Obama - and most of them were just picking him as the lesser of two evils.

I think you should have wrote "how many mass media organizations around the world agree with me."

Please do yourself a favor and listen to these great words and read along if you can. It is long but I promise you it is an investment of time well spent.

totally agree with Aitch on "don't know why Thaksin keeps poking his nose into everything......"
He's such a coward. When in power, he abuse the justice system. when out, he fears the very same system that he helped set up! what a joke. Can't believe those people who THOUGHT he had brought them good things CHOOSE TO OVERLOOK HIS FUGITIVE status. A criminal still wants to stir up trouble and only VIA PHONE IN.Had he been in the power and there was a case like his, what do you think he will order? Black out of the media in the name of demoncracy as the one phoning in is a criminal? Think! He himself dare not even reveal his whereabouts. HOW CAN HE STILL LEAD? His greed for POWER and MONEY had cause his family to break up. Break up so that his other half can protect their dirtily and ill-gotten money that he robbed from the country. his choice is $ over a wife!!! hahaha....read between the lines... he's still in love with his wife. he should be given an emmy award for being such a good actor. he can fool the largely uneducated and illiterates that formed his support base (where he had exploited with little $ which he know can satisfy them) but not the rest.....

I am an American and I love my country. Furthermore I love Thailand! Thailand may be going through some political turmoil right now but it is still one of the best countries in the world.

Mr. Drey, maybe it is time for you to go home and see if you can fix America before you try to tell the Thais how to fix their problems.

Before you become a "Legend in your own Mind" wait until you are asked for your opinion.

May all the best be with you Thailand!

Hi Drey, you need to calm down, my friend. You are a foreigner living in Thailand. Why are you stiring things up in this country that provides you love, shelter, and nourishment? I respect your opinion, but what the country need right now is unity and healing.

I think you mean Drey not Drew and I'm not going anywhere.

My points are defined clearly or do you need me to repost them again?. What are your points (if any)?

You can see how the Democrats are manipulating their newly gained power to curtail Thai's freedoms. You all now support this censurship of every kind. The military is flexing its rebirth in political control. Those who committed crimes against the state are being congratulated and promoted. Their policies are no different, IF NOT WORSE, than those of the TRT/PPP to throw money at those who they need support from to maintain power.

I TOLD YOU THE HISTORY OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. YOU FOOLS WHO THINK YOU ARE ON THE SIDE OF ANGELS IN WHITE WHO COME TO YOUR RESCUE FROM THE BIG BAD WOLF WILL HAVE TO ENDURE THE "DE-DEMOCRATIZATION" OF THAILAND WITH ONE ULTRA-POWER PARTY RULING ALL.

The facts do not change. THE MAJORITY IS STILL THE MAJORITY no matter what the powerful minority (Military, Royalists, Democrats & Media Moguls) wish us to swallow. Remember the Democrats/PAD fight song "Shutup you poor uneducated blind bribe taking idiots and let us lead you...Of course we know whats good for you better than you could know...".

Is this really what you want for the future of all Thais?

This message to the Core PAD leaders, the PAD members, the Abhisit's groups and Khun Abhisit's administration, there will be no way for Thaksin Shinawatra and his crews to pave the way for those of you guys to gain control of the power in the country long for the sake of the winner and the losers. The political game is not over, yet.

There will be some techniques that Thaksin and his core leaders will be running into the wire which is your administration never know how this type of power will regain him back to power. I can bet you that! Call in TS, please call in we will be supporting you and crews on the way. Khun Sanoh whatever you talk bad on the back of TS, there will be no one can trust you anyhow.

The mess demonstrations against the current government will be crowded at Sanamluang, see you there.
