Deputy Minister of Interior Boonjong Wongtrairat on Wednesday said he is ready to be probed by all organisations after he was accused of giving money worth 100,000 baht and his name cards to villagers in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima.
According to Mr Boonjong, he did nothing wrong, adding that he will continue to perform for the benefits of the country and its people.
As a deputy minister of interior, he has a duty to look after people's well-being and it is also usual for him to give out his name cards with his phone number to the public, he said.

The deputy minister then accused certain newspapers for publishing distorted news about him and said thousands of public members can be his witnesses.
"It is not important where the money comes from since it is people's tax money, and many procedures and documents need to be considered before distributing money to the villagers," said Mr Boonjong.
He added that he already talked about the case with Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban, and he is ready to accept the investigation result.
