Suthep: No plans to form national govt

Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban said the Democrat party has no plan to set up a "national government," which would make up of the Democrats, its coalition partners and the opposition Puea Thai party.
He also dismissed reports that senior party members including Banyat Bantadtan and Nipon Boonyamanee support the idea.
Mr Suthep then said that the Democrat party does not negotiated with the opposition party by proposing the opposition the plan to form the national government in exchange for them to drop the plan to grill the Democrat party on the 250 million baht donation.
Democrat party has done nothing wrong, so there is no need to negotiate with anyone, he insisted.
