THAI to leave Don Mueang airport

Thai Airways International (THAI) will move all of its flights from Don Mueang airport to Suvarnabhumi airport, starting on March 29, the airline's acting president, Baribgsaj Sangapong, said on Friday.

He admitted  the change could be confusing for foreign travellers who have booked the tickets in advance.

Things would be made clearer at a press conference to be held later today, he said.

During the Songkran festival in April, three aircraft would be at the Don Mueang airport to serve travellers who may be confused about the change of airport.

But afterward,  all THAI operations would be shifted to Suvarnabhumi airport, he said.

    What?

20 people turn up all going to different places. Are these 3 aircraft going to drop them all off at their destinations? Is this a taxi service? And these people are running an airline. No wonder it's going down.

Does anyone know that the PAD just about to bankrupt Thai Airways International, the National airling, because of their protests and occupation of the Suvarnabhumi International Airport?

That is correct my friends. Their employees and stewardesses are on standy because there are not enough passengers to justify the flights and the flights keep changing and rearranging. They also lost a lot of money from the PAD's actions and the economics downturn.

Go ask the employees, don't ask management.
