The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index on Tuesday lost 3.48 points or 2.78 per cent to close at 442.56 points. The market value was approximately 13.353 billion baht, with about 2.19 billion shares being traded.
The SET100 index sank 5.65 points or 0.85 per cent to stand at 657.50 points. The SET50 index went down 2.76 points or 0.88 per cent to stay at 309.58 points.
The FSTHL decreased 3.70 points or 0.70 per cent to close at 521.34 points. The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index was 1.86 points or 1.20 per cent lower to close at 152.50 points.
The top five most active values were as follows.
KBANK increased to 50.00 baht, up by 1.25 baht (2.56%).
PTT decreased to 160.00 baht, down by 2.00 (1.23%).
PTTTEP decreased to 96.50 baht, down by 3.00 (3.02%).
BANPU remained at 222.00 baht.
ADVANC decreased to 79.75 baht, down by 0.50 (0.62%).
