The People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) held a council meeting to assess the political situation and to celebrate the first anniversary of the beginning of the group's 193-day protest against the pro-Thaksin governments on Sunday at Rangsit University.

More than 3,000 PAD core members and supporters nationwide were expected to attend this event.

At the council meeting, participants would analyse the current political situation and discuss issues relating to the possibility of granting amnesty to banned politicians and the government's plan to amend the 2007 constitution.

They would also discuss the future of the PAD and see whether the yellow-clad group should transform itself into a political party.

About two companies of police officers were dispatched to maintain security around the venue.

You maked very mistake in this paragraph

"The People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) held a council meeting to assess the political situation and to celebrate the first anniversary of the beginning of the group's 193-day protest against the government of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Sunday at Thammasat University's Rangsit campus."

    1.protest against Somchai's and Samak's government not Thaksin's
2.At Rangsit university today, not Thammasat u.[will do it tomorrow]
