The opposition has decided to vote against the executive decree for the Finance Ministry to raise 400 billion baht in loans, said Puea Thai MP Sunai Julapongsathorn.

Mr Sunai said the government is lying to the peple.  He said the ongoing economic crisi was caused by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij who are not capable of solving the economic problems.  So, they have resorted to seeking loans for projects which are intended to benefit their colleagues and coalition parties, he added.

The Puea Thai MP said the 400-billion-baht loan would make each Thai people to be 80,000 baht indebted.

The Opposition opposes the bill to raise loans. So are we supposed to be surprised. They have bitched and moaned continuously since they lost power. The surprise would be if they said yes. Of course the chances of that are nil. Puea Thai, you are at least consistant.

Dear opposition members, 80,000 THB figure is pure simple maths you are talking about.

When you were all born how many Thai Bahts you brought. How many Thai Bhats you spend for each election.

How many Thai Bahts you all spend for songkran red shirt unrest.

Ok you talk about economics of loan, dont make it a silly maths.
You dont approve its OK, but that silly maths not OK.
May be a phone in may give you better maths, that is also doubtfull.

Oppositin has some stuff, we can learn something. We dont think so.

Why should anyone be surprised that the opposition will do anything to block the government from raising the loans? The opposition is just too myopic and is engaging in gutter politics.

Mr Sunai said the ongoing economic crisis was caused by PM who is incompetent in resolving the economic problems. But did he know that Peau Thai was the BIGGEST culprit in this? The ongoing bickering about almost everything is slowing down the process of recovery. The loans might have would made each Thai people to be 80,000 baht indebted. But the damge caused by the red shirt protests had made each Thai people nuch more indebted; those innocent lives lost can never recover the loss.
