Gen Chaisit: Yingluck too young

Former army chief Gen Chaisit Shinawatra said on Wednesday that he disagreed with MP Chalerm Yubamrung and felt Yingluck Shinawatra, younger sister of former prime minister Thaksin, was too young to lead the opposition Puea Thai Party.

“It is not the right time for Yingluck to become leader of a political party as she is too young in politics”, Thaksin's elder cousin said.

He also had no idea whether the fugitive politician would feel the same way.

However Gen Sumeth Phomanee, a former classmate of Thaksin's working at the defence permanent secretary's office, said there  is a possibility  Ms Yingluck could become the leader of the Puea Thai Party.

He said she was already actively involved in the politics of the opposition camp.

Gen Sumet said Thaksin had not yet made decision on the matter as it was not urgent and there were several candidates suitable for the job of party leader

The most ideal candidate would be none other than the fugitive's ex-wife,who is still free like a bird, though supposed to be jailed for 2 years due to tax fraud. Basically,Puea Thai Party has no one eligible to lead any political party,as they are just running dogs of ex-TRT and PPP that was the creation of the man who doesn't want to die in the desert.

Oops! Would Peua Thai opt for younger than Yingluck? How about Panthongtae, Pinthongta, and the other gold-coated name? There can be miracles....if you believe.....

Same story, different day! You think General Sumet might be afraid of some NEW THINKING in the party? Maybe afraid the old guard will lose control?
Maybe there are other people who are TOO OLD? !
This country needs new blood and fresh ideas if it is to be productive. The old party members have shown very little creativity and thinking outside the box. Nothing wrong with a bit of "inexperience".
