SET index drops 4.37 points

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index went down 4.37 points or 0.73% to close at 593.11 points at the end of trading session on Thursday morning. The trade value was at 9.26 billion baht, with 1.11 billion shares traded.

The SET50 index ended at 426.40 points, down 3.95 points or 0.92%, with a total trade value of 7.0 billion baht. The SET100 index fell 7.85 points or 0.86% to stand at 908.81 points, with a total turnover of 8.14 billion baht. The MAI index also went down 2.65 points or 1.38% to close at 189.50 points, with total transaction value of 419.64 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

SCB     closed at  70.25 baht, down 3.00 baht (4.10%)
PTT     closed at 229.00 baht, down 5.00 baht (2.14%)
PTTEP closed at 131.50 baht, down 2.00 baht (1.50%)
BANPU closed at 328.00 baht, down 7.00 baht (2.09%)
KBANK closed at   65.50 baht, down 0.75 baht (1.13%)
