Police have an arrest warrant for another red-shirt on lese majeste charges recommended by Chana Songkhram police, Pol Maj-Gen Amnuay Nimmano, deputy metropolitan police chief, said on Thursday.

Pitsanu Promsorn, a United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship leader, would be charged with violating Article 112 of the Criminal Code.  The man allegedly made lese majeste remarks in his speech at Sanam Luang on the night of June 23, he said.

Pol Maj-Gen Amnuay said Mr Pitsanu was believed to have fled to Laos, where he might have met Suchart Nakbangsai, another UDD leader charged earlier with lese majeste.

    @ farang
the Yellow shirts did not commit lese-majeste.
the arrest warrents are issued not for stirring up violence or political unrest, but for insulting the royal institution and the Kingdom.
    that's a whole other story.
further, mr. Thaksin also never won an election, he just bought the election.
Most young and women do not support the Thaksin clan and I do not understand "the silent poor" when TRT was in power they kept them illiterate for their benifit, but when the whole thing turned they payed them to come and riot in the streets of Bangkok

#1) WHERE are the arrest warrants for THE YELLOW SHIRTED ONES??!!??

#2) The Current Coalition Government NEVER WON an election; RATHER it got it by ELIMINATED (fragmenting) the previous ones, TRT & its successors (what a silly game of name-changed forced by "silly" rules

#3) IT'S A SMOKESCREEN for the "NEW" Constitution pushed through by the Military during the 15-month of rule by coup. SORRY, No Real Democracy for Thailand (at the moment).

#4) Like Iran, China, USA & everywhere, what will the "young, women and up-until-now silent poor have to say.
