Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya, who is currently in Qatar, has been informed of police decision to charge him along with leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy in connection with the seizure Suvarnabhumi airport in a drive to oust the Somchai Wongsawat government late last year.

Panich Wikitseth, assistant to the foreign minister, said on Sunday that Mr Kasit had talked to Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva concerning this matter and he would continue to perform his duties.

Mr Kasit would return to the country in one or two days and would report to police investigators handling the case on July 16 to hear the charges.

PAD protesters at Suvarnabhumi airport have been charges with seven offences including obstructing aviation, which can result in death penalties if convicted, and terrorism charges under Article 135 of the Criminal Code.

It was the deal between PAD and Abhisit . It's just a payback otherwise Abisith will end up being criticized by Sondhi just like coup leader or Gen.Surayudh who forgot to do so.

He's talked to Abhisit and been told to continue his duties normally.....giving the impression that nothing will happen.

Why do they even have Kasit as foriegn minister when he's facing these charges? And when they knew he was at the airport before they hired him? Double standards all over, and Abhisit shows his support for criminals.
