Flu infections rise to 3,228

Deputy Minister of Public Health Manit Nopamornbordee confirmed 157 new A (H1N1) influenza virus case on Saturday afternoon, raising the country’s swine flu infections to 3,228.

Mr Manit said the flu death toll remained unchanged at 15 and 6 flu patients are being in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the director general of Medical Services Department Rewat Wissaratawes admitted that 10 patients who developed swine flu like symptom were being placed in special wards for treatments and for keeping a close watch by health authorities.

    Time to close the aiports and stop tourism, until this virus is brought under control.

    It is already inside Thailand, no need to close anything.
    But you must be Thai because with this sentence above it means you blame us foreigners for the flu.
    Same everytime when something bad happens.

    if they want to stop and control it, they should have done announcing to close down also government schools and alike because some schools here in thailand especially public schools lack in hygiene stuff...

    cleaning is not the best remedy but stopping should be,I believe that wearing the mask will stop the individual from transmitting and receiving the virus,if nobody is spreading such, it will just die naturally.remember it is airborne.
