  • Online news:

Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Wednesday afternoon issued a statement denying any involvement in the audio clip featuring Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva’s voice ordering the use of force against red-shirts in April.

Thaksin said ihe was busy traveling overseas, visiting heads of state and government leaders giving advice on poverty eradication and explaining the royally initiated projects and theories of HM the King.

He was also looking for investment opportunities, and had invested in diamond mining.

“I totally deny the allegation about the audio clip as I have no time to be involved in such nonsensical matters,” the fugitive politician said in the statement.

Diamonds? Africa? Heads of states? What a joke. He's been booted out of every self-dignified nation on earth, now trolling the poverty and corruption in Africa. Something tells me he fits in very well there.

Welcome back Soveny/Village Idiot, I'm sorry to hear your schizophrenia was incurable.

I dont think it would be unfair to suggest that if one is to be judged on ones previous actions/statements then anything Khun Thaksin has to say stopped having any credibility years ago, Im surprised anyone with half a mind would even take any notice of him and his propaganda machine anymore. Use past experience as a lesson, its called antecedence.

I have never heard the clip or seen a transcript so it is hard for me to appreciate what the fuss is about. It appears the PM did say "The words" because even he says the clip was edited not fabricated.

Why not print a transcript of the clip and along side that print a transcript of what he believes was said and let the people make up their own minds.

Thaksin is so sweet, kissing babies, promoting the Sufficiency theory, helping poor people everywhere to make a better life. I expect soon he will be made a Saint.

As you know "torben" discussion #1, Mr. Thaksin is already rich before he had enter the politic in Thailand. He is multi-billionaire already, as for corruption, you name one person that enter the politic that is not corrupted..current government is more so...look at how they're all gains the seats throught coup and PAD. What we're all needed is fresh election.
