SET index up 0.56%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Wednesday gained 3.86 points or 0.56 per cent to close at 695.59 points. The market value was 29.47 billion baht, with 5.52 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended at 1,072.16 points, up 6.32 points or 0.59 per cent, with a total transaction value of 26.07 billion baht.

The SET50 index gained 3.10 points or 0.62 per cent to stay at 499.76 points, with a total turnover of 22.84 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index increased 0.72 point or 0.38 per cent to stay at 192.31 points, with a total trade value of 417.33 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

PTT closed at 260.00 baht, up by 7.00 baht or 2.77 per cent.

PTTEP closed at 146.00 baht, up by 2.50 baht or 1.74 per cent.

TOP closed at 46.00 baht, up by 0.25 baht or 0.55 per cent.

TTA remained at 25.00 baht.

PTTAR closed at 26.00 baht, up by 0.75 baht or 2.97 per cent.
