SET index down 0.27%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Thursday lost 1.98 points or 0.27 per cent to close at 728.54 points. The market value was 31.79 billion baht, with 7.48 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,121.68 points, down 3.72 points or 0.33 per cent, with a total trade value of 26.69 billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 1.51 points or 0.29 per cent to stay at 519.96 points, with a total transaction value of 21.32 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index moved down 1.40 points or 0.68 per cent to stand at 203.34 points, with a total turnover of 502.15 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

BAY closed at 19.60 baht, up by 0.40 baht or 2.08 per cent.

PTT closed at 265.00 baht, down by 3.00 baht or 1.12 per cent.

KBANK closed at 81.75 baht, up by 2.00 baht or 2.51 per cent.

PTTEP closed at 147.50 baht, down by 2.50 baht or 1.67 per cent.

SCB closed at 84.75 baht, up by 1.25 baht or 1.50 per cent.
