SET index midday down 2.29%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index in the morning session of Monday lost 15.67 points or 2.29 per cent to close at 669.57 points. The market value was 10.07 billion baht, with 1.32 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index stood at 1,019.60 points, down 25.88 points or 2.48 per cent, with a total trade value of 8.94 billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 12.14 points or 2.51 per cent to stay at 471.53 points, with a total transaction value of 7.97 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index climbed down 0.76 points or 0.36 per cent to stand at 209.17 points, with a total turnover of 338.53 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

PTTEP closed at 136.00 baht, down by 9.00 baht or 6.21 per cent.

PTT closed at 233.00 baht, down by 7.00 baht or 2.92 per cent.

CPF closed at 9.35 baht, down by 0.30 baht or 3.11 per cent.

KBANK closed at 77.00 baht, down by 0.75 baht or 0.96 per cent.

BANPU closed at 428.00 baht, down by 10.00 baht or 2.28 per cent.
