Govt not worried about Thaksin's SMS

  • Online news:

The government is not worried about ousted premier Thaksin Shinawatra's plan to send SMS messages to his supporters because it does not give any importance to his activities, Prime Minister's Office Minister Sathit Wongnongtoey said on Tuesday.

The government will proceed with the more important task of tackling national problems, he said.

Thaksin always took the same line, so the government would not waste its time worrying about his latest action.

Thaksin said last week that he would communicate with his supporters through short text messages sent to their mobile phones.

"The government will proceed with the more important task of tackling national problems"

It took the Democrats all these months to finally figure our what they should be doing rather than chasing around a ghost? Lets wait and see what they do tomorrow.

    -Phone in,
    -Twitter
    -SMS
-Thaksin’s articles in his controlled newspapers
    -Radio
-Placard for journalists with the symbol (X) for unconstructive questions (if Thaksin dislike August 2005)
Use the same principle: The "ONE WAY SPEECH"

Thaksin is probably not clear on many points...It’s a way for him to avoid the true questions...
