SET index falls 0.66%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Thursday lost 4.50 points or 0.66 per cent to close at 681.91 points. The market value was 15.43 billion baht, with 4.19 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,037.91 points, down 8.40 points or 0.80 per cent, with a total trade value of 12.49 billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 4.31 points or 0.89 per cent to stay at 479.38 points, with a total transaction value of 10.50 billion baht.

However, the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index gained 0.29 point or 0.14 per cent to stay at 214.04 points, with a total turnover of 425.707 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

PTTEP remained at 134.50 baht.
 
PTT closed at 234.00 baht, down by 2.00 baht or 0.85 per cent.
 
TTA closed at 27.00 baht, down by 1.00 baht or 3.57 per cent.
 
PTTAR closed at 21.30 baht, down by 0.40 baht or 1.84 per cent.
 
KBANK closed at 78.75 baht, down by 0.50 baht or 0.63 per cent.
