SET index down 0.74%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Tuesday lost 5.28 points or 0.74 per cent to close at 708.20 points. The market value was 21.69 billion baht, with 4.81 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,082.10 points, down 9.27 points or 0.85 per cent, with a total trade value of 17.80 billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 4.59 points or 0.91 per cent to stay at 500.32 points, with a total transaction value of 15.14 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index sank 1.41 points or 0.65 per cent to stay at 216.42 points, with a total turnover of 394.60 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

PTTEP closed at 139.50 baht, down by 0.50 baht or 0.36 per cent.

PTTAR closed at 23.40 baht, down by 0.70 baht or 2.90 per cent.

PTT closed at 248.00 baht, down by 4.00 baht or 1.59 per cent.

TTA closed at 28.50 baht, down by 0.50 baht or 1.72 per cent.

PTTCH closed at 73.25 baht, down by 0.75 baht or 1.01 per cent.
