Thaksin to leave Phnom Penh Friday

Ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra will leave Cambodia tomorrow to return to Dubai a close associate of the fugitive politician, Noppadon Pattama, said on Thursday morning.

He said Thaksin, as an economic advisor to Cambodian government, will this morning give a special lecture on economic and rural development, investment and poverty eradication to Cambodian MPs and state officials.

Thaksin’s presentation would be broadcast on the red-shirts' DStation television channel tonight.

Puea Thai MP for Samut Prakarn Pracha Prasopdee said he and 10 other MPs of the party plan to visit Thaksin in Phnom Penh tomorrow.

Puea Thai MP for Chiang Mai Surapong Towichakchaikul had earlier said Thaksin will return to Dubai on Saturday morning and more than 100 MPs from the opposition camp will go to see the ex-premier tomorrow.

What a bad news that the innocent Mr. Thaksin now leave Cambodia again. Must have been a great time for Mr. 1000 per cent perfect Thaksin to stay with all the thai criminals living in Cambodia. Can Thaksin teach Cambodia anything, number 134 on the list of most corruption countries in the world.

What i just don't understand is where did Thaksin learn what he is teaching?

As a policeman he most certainly gained no knowledge about the subject ..as an IBM salesman (Inside Government contracts) he gained no knowledge on the subject ...so it's only during his give-a-way poor stimulus time with TRT that he really can talk about and that basically was about buying votes....I am quite amazed that people have forgotten the Canadian/American business man that Thaksin ripped off with the Satellite project...Thaksin even used the now famous Thai phrase "This is Thailand you are foreigner, easy to make problem for you"
