The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Thursday plunged 21.18 points or 2.95 per cent to close at 696.72 points. The market value was 27.31 billion baht, with 3.67 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,061.72 points, down 36.69 points or 3.34 per cent, with a total trade value of 23.97 billion baht.

The SET50 index tumbled 17.46 points or 3.44 per cent to stay at 490.63 points, with a total transaction value of 21.63 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index slipped 1.81 points or 0.84 per cent to stay at 214.55 points, with a total turnover of 449.01 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

PTT closed at 236.00 baht, down by 14.00 or 5.60 per cent.

PTTEP closed at 136.00 baht, down by 8.00  or 5.56 per cent.

BANPU closed at 470.00 baht, up by 8.00 or 1.73 per cent.

TTA closed at 28.25 baht, down by 1.25 or 4.24 per cent.

CPF remained at 10.20 baht.

    Who is the government going to blame on this fall. Beware of the moles.? Maybe the thought of a conflict with Cambodia. Well they have tried for two years to get criminal ex-deposed prime minister Taksin Shinawatra and failed miserably or what about Thug Hun Sen,
