Seemarak na Nakhon Phanom, the mother of the alleged Thai spy Siwarak Chutiphong, has called on fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra to use his personal friendship with Cambodian premier Hun Sen to get the release of her son from Prey Sar prison.

Mrs Seemarak said was able to speak with her son on the phone for about five minutes today. She was worried about about him because he has a respiratory problem.

“My son could be in danger if he is detained too long as he has to take medication regularly,” Mrs Seemarak said.

She wanted Thaksin to use his influence help bring her son back to Thailand as soon as possible.

Thaksin sets the guy up to take a fall then he rescues him then he is a hero. I think I saw this on a Thai soap opera already.
He is the master of Public Relations, and he pays a big firm to help orchestrate these shams.
If you believe it is true you are sadly mistaken.

It is downright deplorable that this man was part of a Thai agency's ploy to track Thaksin's whereabouts and flight plans. It does not matter what reasons he gives or how many times he insists on denying that he was not spying, the FACT is that he did spy for an agency in the Thai govt. and was caught red-handed. Now he has to face teh music and suffer the consequences of his actions. Cambodia is a sovereign state and no one should interfere in the internal matters, let alone this un-democratic govt. that was not elected via democratic means but via behind the scenes wheeling and brokering.

This govt. is putting Thailand in a dangerous situation that will only escalate and bring down this govt. If you play with fire, you end up getting burned.

The crime he committed took place in Cambodia, now he will have to face the consequences according to their laws and judicial process.

Just let Thaksin have Isan, since they love him so much and he pretend to care so much about theme. Then the rest of Thailand can prosper and the people of Isan can see that Thaksin is not able to do any business without corruption. Just look at what happened when he tried to do business abroad. The stupid man lost 90% of his money...

D1: Hendrick, it is to Khun Thaksin's advantage to be the one responsible for getting the poor mother's ill son released, while the Thai government sits helpless on the sidelines making pleas. Thaksin is the hero. Thaksin is the man, who can get things done. This is the perception of Thaksin that this plan had from the beginning. Maybe just before the UDD rally would be a good time.

I am happy that this mother sook the help of mr Thaksin, I hope prime minister thaksin will extend his help to the guy who is only used by the present government to take information regarding him, he is not at fault, since he has to follow order..........since the MOTHER ask for help in behalf of his son, is a sign of humbleness and acceptance that they need badly Mr, Thaksin than the present government, my appeal to our beloved Ex Prime minister, hear hopefully the cry of the longing mother.....please help this lowly guy, who is just used and feared by oppression from present government, as you can see this present government could be able to do it with you our beloved Ex Prime Minister thaksin, who is already rich and powerful, yet the democrat government can be able to topple you, kick you from our country how much more this guy if he refuses to do so... please help him Mr. Thaksin.
