SET index up 0.03%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Tuesday lost 0.20 point or 0.03 per cent to close at 706.55 points. The market value was 16.16 billion baht, with 2.70 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,076.57 points, down 1.56 points or 0.14 per cent, with a total trade value of 13.05 billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 0.70 point or 0.14 per cent to close at 498.07 points, with a total transaction value of 11.27 billion baht.

However, the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index gained 2.01 points or 0.94 per cent to stay at 215.91 points, with a total turnover of 667.07 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

CPF closed at 11.30 baht, down by 0.30 baht or 2.59 per cent.

BANPU closed at 492.00 baht, down by 2.00 baht or 0.40 per cent.

PTTEP closed at 136.00 baht, down by 2.00 baht or 1.45 per cent.

PTT closed at 239.00 baht, up by 1.00 baht or 0.42 per cent.

TTA closed at 29.25 baht, down by 0.25 baht or 0.85 per cent.
