One more flu death last week

One person died, a resident of Bangkok, from type-A(H1N1) flu in the period from Nov 8 to 14, raising the death toll from the virus to 185, the Bureau of Epidemiology of the Public Health Ministry announced on Wednesday.

The bureau also said that during the first 14 days of the month there were 63 new cases of swin flu in 13 provinces, most of them in Pathum Thani, Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Phuket and Samut Songkhram.

In Bangkok the disease spread more widely in Watthana and Klong Toey districts.

He said health officials continue to keep a close watch for the spreading of the illness.
