SET index down 0.97%

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index on Thursday lost 6.84 points or 0.97 per cent to close at 700.42 points. The market value was 14.05 billion baht, with 2.79 billion shares traded.

The SET100 index ended the session at 1,061.34 points, down 14.34 points or 1.33 per cent, with a total trade value of 10.99 billion baht.

The SET50 index fell 6.90 points or 1.39 per cent to stay at 491.11 points, with a total transaction value of 9.90 billion baht.

The Market for Alternative Investment (mai) index slipped 0.45 point or 0.21 per cent to stay at 214.63 points, with a total turnover of 328.36 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

CPF closed at 10.90 baht, down by 0.10 baht or 0.91 per cent.

BANPU closed at 484.00 baht, down by 12.00 baht or 2.42 per cent.

PTT closed at 233.00 baht, down by 6.00 baht or 2.51 per cent.

PTTEP closed at 134.00 baht, down by 3.00 baht or 2.19 per cent.

TTA remained at 29.00 baht.
