Four soldiers wounded in Yala

Four soldiers were wounded, two of them seriously, in a bomb explosion on a road in Muang district of Yala province on Friday, police reported.

Police said the soldiers, who were on patrolling along the Yala-Lam Mai road in tambon Phra Ron, had gathered under a roadside shelter when a bomb went off.

The bomb was hidden in a motorcycle left in front of the shelter before the soldiers arrived, police said.
