62-year-old murdered in Yala

A 62-year-old man was shot dead by two men on a motorcycle in Bannang Sata district of Yala province on Thursday morning, police said.

Pol Col Sompien Eksomya, the Bannang Sata police chief, said Mana Domatu, of village 4 in tambon Bacho, was attacked as he left his home on a motorcycle. He was shot in the head and body and died on the spot.

Police recovered nine 9mm bullet casings at the scene. They blamed insurgents.

Just a poor person gunned down by the usual two people on a motorbike.
