It is the third time the California-born Bryan twins have won the season-ending championship, having won the 2003 and 2004 titles.
The Australian Open champions' victory ensures the 31-year-olds finish the season as the number one-ranked doubles side.
It was the fourth year-end championship final appearance for the Bryans and their second in a row, having lost the final last year in Shanghai.
The two final-contesting teams met in the tournament's group stage, with the Bryans losing 6-4, 6-4.
