  I don't think it's failure in the government, it's the same problem being faces all over the world by muslims. The world needs to stop blaming governements and policies and start blaming the people who make the problem. The only thing the government has done is it's been 90% too soft. A very heavy hand is needed.

  Totally agree with discussion 1 and 2,
  
  This poor couple left their home today to earn money. At the same time the killers got on their motorcycles looking for people to kill. The killers cannot be going too far from the scene. They have to buy fuel,food and get their bikes repaired ,surely someone sees unemployed youths with money and an attitude.
  
  Does the head of the Thai armed forces ever react to any of this in the Thai press. They are desperate to buy jet fighters yet they cannot prevent killings of their own people including their soldiers every day.
  
  Don't they feel shame at their failures ?
