Dhanin Chearavanont of agribusiness conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) is Thailand's richest person, according to the Forbes magazine list released on Thursday.

Mr Dhanin, who is the new No.1, has an estimated fortune of US$7 billion.Chaleo Yoovidhya, who co-founded energy drink giant Red Bull, has moved down the list this year to No.2, with a fortune of $4.2 billion.Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi is the third richest person in Thailand, with a fortune of $4.15 billion. Whether it is true that "Dhanin Chearavanont is Thailand's richest person" we will never know.

Those who actually READ Forbes know that the amount quoted for Dhanin Chearavanont is the wealth of him AND HIS FAMILY... That is not a "person".

So what are this super-rich Thais giving to the poor in this country?
Ups sorry I forgot TIT - you don't give to the poor - it's on their back that you got rich in the first place. Here the rich "support" the politicians to make sure legislation is favorable to keep their "monopolies"!
