PT's Surapong: Coup in Oct for sure

A Puea Thai MP has come up with a grim prediction that there would definitely be a military coup in October.

Surapong Towichakchaikul, a Chiang Mai MP, said on Friday that he had  information which led to the belief that there would definitely be a coup.

The coup makers had already drafted a new constitution and prepared to make a general whose name begins with the initial 'P' the new prime minister after the coup, he said.

Great news.. We will have a new military government and a new constitution, about the 5th one in the 26 years I am living here. No one is ever happy. Nothing changes and everything remains the same. No one cares about anything except stuffing their pockets, as this is what so called democrazy is really all about.

Good to know that the half intelligent farangs left the country. The intelligent farangs will stay.
Sweden farang is sitting somewhere in Sweden and nursing himself on six-packs and gossips from PT.

    #25:
When then TRT Thaksin told his MPs "Vote my way or you will be punished" is when democracy was derailed.
When then TRT Thaksin told the country "Vote for my party or you will receive government benefits last" is when democracy was derailed.
When TRT Thaksin interfered with the checks and balances system and became unimpeachable is when democracy was derailed. Etc,Etc.....
And, no, democracy has not returned.

All the PADs were praying for a coup when PT was in power. Not so favorable now?
And to continue on this theme, here is an opposition MP saying a coup is ok if it gives the right result!!
Hey no wonder they call it the land of smiles.

This is cartoon carnival. Just about the time I thought the cigarette police were being reined in, a coup is predicted. Get a life... One of the reasons for the coup is because the country is running off keel to a democracy...? Well, gee. That's like telling tourists to decide who the bad, over zealous, cigarette police are; and to ignore them.

Jake Elwood; Why has the "second party" got more MPs than the "first(?) party?

The weak democracy was derailed during the 2007 military coup. It will not come back on track as long as the few mostly Chinese immigrants has all the country's wealth. and the majority Thai people has too little share.

The purpose of the coup to prevent an election from taking place. The military and Democrats know well the next election will see Pheu Thai as winner and form the govt. So the best way to avoid this terrible scenario is by launching a coup. After the coup, the military will hunt all pro-Thaksin people to ensure that they can remain in power forever like their Burmese counterparts.
