465 schools in deep South now closed

A meeting of the Three Border Provinces Teachers Federation has passed a resolution that all 465 schools in red zones and risk areas of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat be closed for three days, the federation’s Boonsom Thongsriprai said on Tuesday afternoon.

The resolution followed the murder of a married couple, both teachers, in Narathiwat’s Rangae district this morning.

Wilas Kongkam, 54, a teacher at Manang Kayee school, and his wife, Komkam Petchprom, 53, a teacher at Tungtodang school, were attacked a by two men on a motorcycle about 6am while they were on their way to Tanyongmas morning market.

    I guess its the redshirt or Thaksin. All the troops are in Bkk and the south is being taken over and run by the real terrorist. Problem is it looks like no one cares.
