Mr Abhisit said the increase in activities of insurgents is not unexpected.  The insurgents are now targeting state officials in their attacks.  The situation has been closely monitored by...

I think it's a good idea and he should take Korn and Suthep with him. With any luck they'll discover the difference between hard nosed terrorists on a mission and the actions of pissed off protesters.

    Please Khun Abisit .

#1 it is not "restive" it is a full blown war that looks like wining a piece of your country , can you imagine this.

#2 please take Gen Prayuth and the new Police Commissioner so they can see what is their number one task

#3 this is not under control , shutting all schools is a victory for the bad people.

#4 tomorrow morning a couple of these terrorists will get on their bike , sling an M16 over their shoulder and ride around looking for people to kill. It seems they can do this with total impunity.

All Abhisit is about "image," not much to substantiate. 3-month plan became 6-month plan. 6-month plan became 1-year plan, 1-year plan became 2-year plan, and now 2-year plan is becoming "no plan." He would so something but had never finished anything. The Anand's list of "18 Hazardous Activities" became "no list," investigations into the "corruption" at Health and Education Ministries are now gone. He rewarded the "incompetents" with 15% pay raises and billions to those who are supporting him.

    What is it with Abhisit?

PM said "Although the situation is generally under control"

How is it under control with people being brutally murdered almost every other day?

'Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Tuesday he is preparing to visit the three trouble-plagued southern border provinces where terrorist activities have intensified.' Why? For what, exactly? Almost every single time a PM goes down there, bombs go off and people (sometimes many of them) get injured or even killed! So I don't think it's a good idea! It's way too dangerous for taking this kind of risk. It's time to start taking this situation far more seriously than ever before.

    " The insurgents ... "
    No, the TERRORISTS!

    " ... restive South. "
    No, the CIVIL WAR!

    Say it, Bangkok Post.
Say it for what it really is and there just may be official recognition of what it is; and international attention.
