I've never been involved in a police investigation, but it's a labor-intensive process. Thousands to be interviewed, data to be entered in a computer system in such a way that it can be found again and correlated with other bits and pieces.
Interpreting interview reports and re-interviewing people (maybe also finding them again). Asking other departments, making appointments, etc., etc. This may surprise, but all this takes time.

#5 & #6 (Presumably one and the same poster?). The answer is clearly, yes why not?! It is incredible that no serious investigation of any witnesses has yet taken place, even though personal details of the UDD demonstrators were noted after the drackdown and all military personnel should be easily identifiable by their units. This seems clear evidence of a complete lack of will to investigate the deaths of 91 people seriously. And the fact that it is an arm of the state that is failing to act gives an interesting pointer as to where they think the guilt really lies. Do you really imagine that, if they thought they could pin the blame largely on the red shirts, they would not have expedited matters? Wake up and smell the corrupt rot!

Will Puea Thai advise how many terrorosts were involved, how they were deployed, and how weapons were used in the crackdown and what weapons?

So will UDD and Puea Thai advise how many terrorists were involved, how they were deployed, and how weapons were used in the crackdown and what weapons?

More than 3 months after the events, and the DSI is just asking (by letter!) the army and the reds for such basic information!? I think all that time was really necessary for the Department of Sluggish Investigations to ensure that all the 91 deaths were 'unnatural and caused by other persons'. Now suicides are the more likely explanation, but you never know, there might be a relationship with the presence of some militaries and armed militants in the area...

I guess the troops outside the DSI office are making sure that the DSI manages to frame up someone and does not finger any of their sniper and sharpshooter mates

Ha ha, and they'll still be compiling it next year - and the next!

Over three months after? This is just ridiculous. There is absolutely no will whatever in the forces of the state to uncover the truth. That speaks volumes about the likely culpability.
