Puea Thai leader tipped to resign

The Puea Thai Party called an urgent meeting of its executive members at 11am on Thursday amidst a rumour that Yongyuth Wichaidit would declare his decision to resign as party leader, reports said.

It was reported that Mr Yongyuth would officially submit his resignation at today’s meeting.

Citing an informed source at the opposition camp, the reports said Mr Yongyuth’s resignation would pave the  way for Pol Gen Kowit Wattana, former police chief and ex-interior minister in  prime minister Samak Sundaravej’s government, to become the new leader of Puea Thai.

Interesting to know, that Puea Thai members have to rely on newspapers and opposition to get information about the party meetings and other internal affairs.
    Headless chicken run.

If Khun Kowit's knowledge of what is going on in his party is limited to what he reads in the newspapers, he will be the ultimate partly leader of Puea Thai...

Any party relying on senior police or army officials in its higher ranks can not be expected to bring the change for the better so badly needed, because these two powerhouses - police and army - have long disqualified themselves due to their continuous and ongoing organised disruption of justice, freedom and democracy.
