Chaturon sees signal for reconciliation

The changing of the leadership of the opposition Puea Thai Party is a signal for reconciliation, Chaturon Chaisaeng said on Friday.

The former acting leader of the dissolved Thai Rak Thai Party was referring to the resignation of Yongyuth Wichaidit as Puea Thai leader and speculation that he would be replaced by former police chief and former interior minister Pol Gen Kowit Wattana.

Mr Chaturon said he learned about this from news reports and former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra's Twitter message.
