Wichean optimistic over Sept 19

New police chief Wichean Potephosree is confident authorities will be able to cope with activities of the red shirts to mark the fourth anniversary of the Sept 19, 2006 coup.
So far there had not been any intelligence reports of unusual movements of the red shirts, Pol Gen Wichean said after a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban on Friday.
The police chief believed the activities on Sept 19 would only be symbolic.
