The problem here is the hypocrisy in that top police say there is no gambling and it turns out they are running the show... but the bigger hypocrisy is that it is the politicians that don't want competition to their casinos abroad that are "exposing" these clubs.... and in the larger sense... who cares about gambling? It would be nice if the police were not involved for sure (and that should be the extent of the scandal), but Thailand's on-again-off-again relationship with legal gambling has been a political issue for more than 100 years and not a moral one. It is celebrated and demonized depending on political and economic need. Just leave people alone to their vices... it is their own money and their own lives.

Chuvit has all the juicy details. A good change in parliament. He's got balls of steel to say for sure.

Again,,,AV and Suthep will deny any knowledge about this...

Illegaly run casinos couldn't make it more obvious if they employed uniformed police officers as croupiers, bouncers and the like ...however, it would at least provide them with tea money and hopefully deter other money making scams they systematically use to rort a law abiding public.

Android... "Obviously the casino in Suthisan must be owned by an extemely powerful and untouchable old man behind."
    What does that mean?
You understand that the casino is owned by the police, right? (The clue is in the title)
Are you trying to implicate someone in particular? Or is this another one of your vague conspiracy theory attempts?

It's been more than one week after Chuvit's disclosure of the scandal at the parliament. No person is arrested, no seizure of gambling paraphernalia, and the casino staff are free to remove the furniture out of the premises as if nothing had happened.Obviously the casino in Suthisan must be owned by an extemely powerful and untouchable old man behind.

Didn't a policeman also part own the nightclub that burnt down? whatever happened to that story?

Chuwit's watch(bull)dog presence in parliament is going to be interesting. If you're prepared to be this bold and have no political capital to risk losing, one of these a week could be unearthed. How Peua Thai, and specifically 'minister of police' Chalerm, deals with these scandals remains to be seen, afterall the police always favoured Thaksin since he let them do as they please. This is one of the big letdowns of this country, govt's who find it convenient to have a corrupt police force.

I don't believe the PACC on this report. For a start the police investigated this alleged casino and couldn't find it. As for drugs, Thaksin erradicated drugs from Thailand in 2003 along with all the drug dealers.

    Is prostitution illegal in Thailand??

Chuwit is The Thai "PO Serpico"

Take a close look - I reckon K.Chuvit is already wearing body armour, even in parliament.
