Bombs kill Malaysian tourist

Three car and motorcycle bombs went off in 40 minutes in a Narathiwat district town on Friday, killing at least two people and wounding 50.

Police said one of the dead was a Malaysian tourist, and several other Malaysians were wounded. The attacks began at 6:40pm in Sungai Kolok district.The first was a bomb on a motorcycle parked opposite the Teochew Association in Soi 3 of Charoen Khet Road. The explosion injured passersby, both residents and tourists.Just 15 minutes later, a second motorcycle bomb exploded 300 metres away, in front of a beer bar at a road intersection near the TOT office.Again, the shrapnel from the bomb wounded local people...
