Jatuporn: Veera, Ratree will be freed

Imprisoned Thai Patriots Network coordinator Veera Somkwamkid and his secretary Ratree Pipattanapaiboon are likely to be granted royal pardons soon and be set free by the Cambodian government, Pheu Thai party list MP Jatuporn Prompan said on Monday.

Mr Jatuporn, a core member of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), said that during his visit to Cambodia along with other MPs and red-shirt leaders for the weekend football match he heard that the Thai government had asked Cambodia to grant a royal pardon to Veera and Ratree.

The two are serving sentences in Prey Sar prison in Phnom Penh after being found guilty of spying and illegal entry.

Thai should arrange for an exchange instead of the Royal Pardon. Should exhange Jatuporn and Nuthawut with them.

Re: D1 did Thai Patriots Network coordinator Veera Somkwamkid and his secretary Ratree Pipattanapaiboon go to Cambodia and intentionally cross the line at the orders of TS? Or was it Abhisit that asked them to go there and get themselves in trouble??? So please tell us what trouble TS and Hun Sen were able to stir up?
We do agree that Obama is not a real leader though...even I was for him in the beginning, he has done a terrible job.

Jatuporn, the man who cried wolf.

Let's be happy that 2 of our own will be free soon even if it was helped by the UDD. If Veera and Ratree accept the help; then we really don't need the cynicism.

Looks like Jatuporn is now a spokeman for the Cambodian Government.

What about the remaining 200 political prisoners held by Hun Sen, when will they be released?

Jatuporn says...... I don't listen to him (Mr. Truth Today) anymore. But I heard, that it will be more of a prisoner exchange: you give me the 2 Thais and I give you 30 Cambodians. The two Thais wil lthen have to stay in Thai prison for some time more.

Mr Jatuporn said! So it must be right! And when they are released next year some time. It was not known when they would be pardoned, but he believed it would be soon, then he will state its because of him! OR he will arrange to have something set alight in the Cambodian capital, A candle in a temple perhaps!
