The big question is: how much of this aid will actually filter down to the needy victims? Remember the massive leaks from the tsunami relief fund. The GREEDY not the needy get the first and largest slices of any pie on offer.

I want to see if Thailand accepts these offers.

Thailand has for many decades fought and killed communists in Thailand, driven propaganda campaigns against anything to the left of center of Thai politics branding it "communist" and literally trampled on any movement that had anything to do with "socialist", even in a party manifesto. Last year a new political party was refused to establish itself because the word "socialist" was found somewhere within the test. (At the same time the PAD was allowed to register as a party, probably because NOT wanting more than 30% of government elected is more acceptable)

If Thailand accepts this offers it would be two-faced and in a sense admitting not everything about "socialism" is bad or ineffective?
