All parking places 'full'

According to TV report, all free parking spaces to escape floods are fully taken up.

Department stores, Don Mueng airport, Suvarnabhumi airport all report that free parking spaces for car owners who want to escape floods are now full.

Hundreds of car owners decide to park their cars on Don Mueng Tollway even though they are afraid of security. They say it is better than let the car damaged in the water.

    Up here north of Chiang Mai, where our village is, we have had to move our cars and bikes up by the Wat on high ground several times in the last three months when the Ping river got higher than the banks.

    disc. 1, what on earth does the above story have to do with trusting leaders, it is Mother Nature out of control and no amount of prep. is going to control everything

    This is crazy but I understand - people here (and in many other places) end up electing a democratic govt. without having the necessary level of trust in the leaders. How to help?
